Nutricartel added some sample of El Jefe to my purchase and I decided to try it for heavy push day.
5 minutes in you can feel betas, energy building up.
Brewing hard. Takes good 40-45 minutes to build. At that mark you get hit by great amount of high energy and focus. It’s aggressive and urgency is there. Strength output wasn’t noticeable for me, struggled to add extra reps to heavy weights.
Then aggression went away,
Lil nausea background started, with that, little mood elevation went away completely. It was a guess game for me for the rest of the workout. Do I like it? Is it productive and beneficial for my workout? I suppose something didn’t agree with me, with 500mg Theobromine, unnecessary. Nauseated for 2-3 hours. Burping all the time. Post workout do not wear off for 2-4 hours
Flavor is gummy bears and it’s nasty, even with 16 oz cold water I couldn’t drink it without wanting to throw up. It’s Apollon level bad.
Pumps were very good. Label is stacked with high quality pump ingredients. I loved it a lot. 10/10.
Overall experience 5.5 /10.

Flavor is Pina Colada is very enjoyable and sweet. You can sip on it and enjoy. It’s best tasting Dark Labs product I’d say.
Pumps are swole and tight, couple sets in already you can feel muscles are blown up. I don’t think you need to add any pump formulas on it.

Hooligan is a hard hitter high stim pre workout. It’s very good for long heavy workouts. Gonna provide the high energy, strength output for good 2 hours and more.
Not for beginners. Recommended to start with 1 scoop because it has lot of caffeine in it
I don’t like Lion’s mane and Theobromine effects on me, so that’s why it’s not my personal favorite in my collection.

It’s not a focus pre workout for me, where as I’m dialed in and focused in one thing which is more aggressive type of focus and energy like Flame v3 gives me. No crash, no nothing. Just good vibes. Nader also says it is happy pre workout. Shout out to him.
I have Godly Gummy flavor. It’s bad. But you can chug it down with lots of water and chew gum afterwards
For stim junkies it is only gonna hit after stim break. If in a week I took other hardcore pre workout it definitely not gonna be on top of its effects
Focus, strength, and energy greatly enhanced. Would definitely recommend this pre for anyone trying to go all out. This will keep you going for hours and it’s an extremely smooth experience. The “high/euphoria” wasn’t there for me but I certainly knew it was working. When I finished my workout after going pretty hard, I still decided to do cardio afterward, (I never do this) I just felt like I had so much energy left and didn’t want it to go to waste.
No crash, taste is fine and I personally don’t feel any mood difference besides wanting to lift more.
One of those surprising pres that catch you off guards. Picked this up on the cheap and it blew my head off. Basically just caffeine and Alpha Yo in a prop blend but it came together great for me. High energy and that about it but when it boils down to it getting that kickstart is all you need and the lifting takes care of itself. I have no qualms recommending this but I’ll never say its well balanced or well rounded, it’s just pure go. I’ve tried other Insane Labz Pres based on Gold but Gold hit the spot for me.
Was not a fan of this one. Got this back in the days where I’d watch reviews before purchasing a product and the hype on this was unreal so I had to get in. I tried it and got noting from it, even tried it healing and tried it with some extra caffeine on top and never got anything out of it. I did however learn a lesson from this one. If a pre looks good to me based on label I will try it but I will never watch a review on a new product before I run it so the experience can be my own and the pre does not have to life up to any expectations, it will speak for itself. I got first batch as well.
Amazing Pre. I got both V2 and V3 and they are similar with V2 having a slight edge with stimulation and 3 having an advantage in mood and focus. I will be reviewing V3.

jefe is one of the first pres to really work with my body chemistry so it had a special place in my heart and probably why I was as crazy about the new version under the Xtremis label. Great workouts, always moving forward on this stuff. It’s just special and from a bygone era of legislate companies sources great raws
This is up there with my favorite Dark Labs products along side original Crack and Crack Reloaded. I am a fan of high energy pres with Alpha Yo so this was right in the range I enjoy. Energy, power and focus were at the top for me. I didn’t get a lot from the mood elevation or pump department though I can say felt good. The high amount of and different varieties of caffeine carried me long after the workout so there was no crash as DMHA pres will sometimes have on me. I’ve used it enough to determine it’s consistent which is good as again, some DMHA pres are widely inconsistent for me. I am by no means a Dark Labs fanboy as Gold and original Flame didn’t do much for me and I never was so impressed I buy all of their pres that come out. So this rating is impressive coming from me. Flavor was Nutricartel exclusive grape and it was surprisingly tolerable as I’m not usually a fan of grape, let alone chemically tasting grape
Totally surprised at how good this was. Good combo of physical energy and pump from the nitrates and it has fat burners GBB and Grains of Paradise to get the sweat flowing. My expectations were not on the high side but found a good sale and have it a try as I’m not too much of a snob to give Redcon1 or anything a chance .
Energy was at a high level 400mg of caffeine and 2 mg of Alpha Yo in addition to the fat burners keeping you warmed up and going. The Alpha Yo and nice dose of theobromine add a nice head buzz as well. Pump were solid with the nitrates, i respond well to nitrates so it was a plus for me. Focus was ok but not outstanding . Felt good and powerful throughout workout. A define winner in my book and would place this in the high stim category for sure. Taste was enjoyable as well
Dethroner is a top notch daily driver. The pumps on this are amazing and have been the best pumps of any of the 3 Dethroner’s. Pumps were full and wet. Second best aspect of this pre is the endurance, you can go for a massive amount of sets without muscle fatigue. Weakest part of this pre is energy at 250mg BUT the lack of constriction is what makes the vaso dilation so good. Flavor is ok and drinkable.
Pump and Focus is a low stim pump formula. With only 150mg of caffeine you have to keep moving and can’t rely on the pre to do all the work. I felt good on this formula. Based on label it’s noting special but looks can be deceiving with this, Pumps and Focus are the stars as the name would imply. Pump were thick and vascular. Endurance was pretty good as well. But as I mentioned before, you need to stay active because the pre will not move you.
Price-Quite high, list price is $89.99 for 30 serving though it’s being sold for $79.99 at Like A Pro site and Nutricartel. Got mine at Nutricartel for $59.75 shipped with code and store credit. Doses are big, 12g of 3D Pump, betaine anhydrous at 5g, Creatine at 5mg,L Tyrosine at 3 g, Rhodioprime at 500 mg, Peak ATP at 400 mg. Along with 200mg standard caffeine and 200 slow release caffeine (doesn’t list yields so guessing around 350mg total caffeine?). No beta alanine in this, to me I’m indifferent as though I only use pres 4 times a week, my tolerance/saturation builds quickly and I don’t end up feeling it half the time so a day break is fine. Taste/Mixing- flavor was Sour Rainbow Lemonade, smelled good and tasted good despite being chalky, which I don’t mind. 33g of powder, mixed up well but left plenty of residue which took a couple of more bits of water and shaking to get it all out. Scooper is accurate which should be for the price Energy- Nice energy, definitely not a slap and no urgency but plenty get going and with half the caffeine being slow release, it lasted throughout the workout and hours later with no crash. No issues here, enough to train hard on and keep moving. Endurance/power output- really did well here. I recovered well with short breaks between sets, never got overly fatigued in my muscles, integrity of form remained throughout the sets. When workout was over, felt I had plenty left in the tank. Speed and power on reps were very good, muscles fired as I wanted them to Focus-Good, mechanical. Everything was clean and at a good pace with no distractions in between sets. Flow was constant Pumps- I always snap a before and after pic of myself and save them for prosperity sake to compare with other pres. With 3D being the pump provider I came out with more fullness and tightness than vascularity. I wouldn’t say that I was overly full but definitely gained some size. I would suspect that if the caffeine were cut down a bit in this I would’ve helped on size. If you respond well to 3D though you’ll be in business. Overall good, a little vascularity in the shoulder but didn’t get it in the traps and pecs where a good vascular pump shows on me…I don’t count the forearms biceps or elbows as these veins will pop with no pre. Overall Experience- I’ve used it twice now, Saturday and this morning, both on upper body days, I personally would not use this on my squat and DL days as it’s not enough for that.I’ve used their Pump and Focus before so this isn’t my first Like A Pro Product. Both of my workouts were very good on this. I’m at the start of my bench cycle so I wasn’t pushed to the limit outside of reps but everything was clean and explosive. Everything was good but not outstanding for me. The premium loaded pre is now my favorite so I’ve been testing them out recently. Pump weren’t as full and massive as Dethroner but had more oomph than it did and right with it in endurance. Better pumps than Triumph though not the power output. It’s right alongside Ekkovision 3.0 but V1 Ultimate remains the best total package.

Taste/Mixability – Very pleasant, lemonade kind of flavor, mixes very good. You can sip on it with some ice and enjoy.
Energy – Very high energy, aggressive mood elevation, focused, ready to hit the gym, hard and heavy. Great strength output. Alpha Yo head high, Urgency!
Focus – is on point due to L-Tyrosine and DMAE, working out non-stop, set after set, task driven

I personally use it for my heavy workout days when I need to add weights and reps in the gym.
Daily driver pre workout by Apollon. Loaded formula. I’d say it was more like a middle of the road pre workout for me.
Taste /serving size – Blue raspberry lemonade flavor. Isn’t the best, isn’t the worst. You can get it down 6/10.
Scoop/serving size is correct on the scale
Energy – Medium to high, not crazy. Minor urgency.
Mood elevation – almost none. Despite of having Beta PEA and Eria
Pumps – uneventfull
Overall – Meh 5.5/10.
It’s very good high end daily pre workout. Gives mood elevation, energy, great focus, you feel stimmed up and ready to go. It’s also very thermogenic, expect a lot of sweating.
Flavor was nice. Nothing bitter. Taste different than regular fruit punch flavors out there

Elite is a good, high end daily driver. The scoop is big and the ingredients are loaded. My only gripe with Elite is the lack of energy that I get out of it. All sources of caffeine are listed at 386 mg but to me it feels like it’s less than 300mg, I get a lot more out of a lot less from other pres in the daily category. The taste might be the best pre workout taste I’ve had in any pre, it’s top notch.
One of the better DMHA pre workouts that I’ve had. 2 Amino is in this at just 150mg but it is well sourced. Another pre that shuts out the noise of the world and leaves you in the here and now of what you are doing. Excellent in focus, mood and energy though the energy is more of a low key type but you wouldn’t ask for any more. Pumps are solid and taste is ok, not offensive. Tried this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Very well sourced ingredients
Completely surprised by this one. Got it on sale for a really good price otherwise I wouldn’t have tried it. Surprisingly though, it was great, an almost perfect daily driver. Though it might be geared more for combat sports or cardio it works well for weights as well. It’s lower stim but you feel energized while using it. This keeps you moving and gives nice power output to boot. No pump
Ingredients are in this but it doesn’t really matter. Could be more well balanced but it is perfect for what it is.
Scoop/Taste/Mixing- Scoop measured out a little heavy. Level scoop was around 1.5-2 g over(I heaped b/c I’m an animal). Flavor was Tigers Blood (not really a fan of the flavor but definitely didn’t want the Mango flavor) and it wasn’t bad at all. Didn’t get any chemical taste and the coconut had that pleasant soapy fake coconut taste to it. Mixed well, only took one additional refill to clear out all residue from the bottle
Energy- This was more of a slow burn to me. Didn’t get that initial slap but felt the underlying sense of urgency. Gave it 20 mins before getting after it. After about the hour mark it began to hum for me (runny nose took about 10 mins). Nice features like having to catch breath between sets but nothing crazy. I ran near the red line but I didn’t cross over it, I was never overwhelmed, kanna kept it down though I’d preferred it have not been in there to let this guy truly sing. Bottom line, more than enough to get you through.
Endurance/power output- Power was good, weight moved up fairly quickly. Muscles fired through every lift. Endurance over the course of the workout, more than enough energy from start to end. Yo effects do cut into super sets and rest between sets
Focus- Kanna definitely helps the focus here and keep things under control whether you like that or not.
Pumps-Vascular pump for me. On lower day I’m not looking for pump or really going out of my way to achieve one.
Overall Experience- For me it was enough though it could’ve been more without the Kanna brakes on it. I was intrigued by this due to the YoMax at 15 mg, first time seeing this ingredient and being a Yo connoisseur. After taking it I really can’t say how much this felt like but it wasn’t overwhelming. I had a good workout but I wasn’t over stimmed to the point where I was going on instinct rather than focus, the feeling of raw instinct and no fear is what I like to have in a pre. My workout was solid and I didn’t need any more, I just wanted more. If I had a sample of this i probably wouldn’t buy the tub but again that’s just me.
Another pre that looks higher stim on label than in actual use. The label is all stim and focus but I didn’t get a whole lot out of it. Just didn’t hit me as well as i thought. Expectations were high but execution was not there for me.
Honestly I was expecting and wanting more from this. Based on the label is looked like it would smack the sh#t out of you but it did not live up to the label. You get a nice energy kick but it’s just nice. Didn’t really feel the alpha yo from it. Taste was fine. I’ve ran it multiple times and am probably done trying with it, just overall disappointing to me
Used Triumph today for the first time. First off, I’m not really a huge Apollo fan, I’ve used a few of their products and find Hooligan to be the best of their stuff I’ve used (also used Assassin and Double Impact and was less than blown away). On to the experience. Flavor we Sex on the Beach, it tasted like that but in the 80s/90s, diet sugar free way before all these new sweeteners came about. Best part was that it didn’t linger once I was done. Beta kicked hard, I’m hit and miss in feeling it but this got my ears burning, looked at the label and saw the Niacin and that was likely why though I didn’t get the skin flush as I normally do. The energy was solid, I didn’t need anything else at all, in face I was as explosive in my reps as I would be stimmed a lot higher with Alpha Yo, more caffeine and more illicit atoms. Endurance was fantastic, went 2 hrs and 13 minutes without struggle or slowing down between sets and movements, a great sets and reps pre. Pumps were good and full, not Dethroner full but with more stims in this I was not expecting that kind of swole. Focus was as good as anything, form was tight and spot on and as mentioned before, explosive. All in all, it checked all the boxes as good as anything on a chest, shoulders, tri’s and bi day. Now for the elephant in the room, price. I used the Review Bros code (RB15) and took $12 off of it but with shipping it still came to about $4 a serving. Did I get a $4 experience? Yes I did, I had a great session. Will it make me bigger and stronger by taking it? No but rest and nutrition will. For the price of this or any other pre, you are not going to grow muscles just by using it but it’ll help you train your way to your goals. My only gripe is that for that price and scoop size they should’ve throw in some creatine. I could care less if creatine is in a pre but if I’m paying for a loaded pre, load it up. Otherwise, it has all you need, including a Robik autographed lid. Bottom line it’s a pretty great all around, more regular use pre. As for a Buy, Try or Why I’d give it a Try just due to price as it isn’t going to do anything a cheaper pre won’t do for self improvement but it’s a heck of a good time
I was a fan of the previous version of El Jefe so I was excited about the new version despite the exclusion of DMHA. I liked the label and a fan of Xtermis Cartel. While this version is good I feel that it could’ve been more. I didn’t get the super kick that the label looked like it would provide. I just wanted more out of it. It’s not bad I just needed it to be a little more and that might be because of the El Jefe name that is on the label. It’s a good all around pre just not on I would reach for off the shelf when in need of something more for my training day
Youngblood is probably my favorite from Apollon. It’s lighter in the stim category but from a workout perspective it’s 100% productive. Energy is at the high end of a daily, with 400mg of caffeine and 250mg of Eria. Mood elevation is definitely there, you just feel good and excited for the next set. Pumps are great, I respond well to Nitrosigine so that might be more tailored to my likes. Flavor could use some work but it’s not a heavy flavor just bland.
Hooligan gets a bad rap as it is a caffeine based pre and a lot of caffeine at that. While moderation is key to avoid the dreaded stim breaks and nice high hit is good on occasion. Hooligan checks a lot of boxes for me. Being straight caffeine it means I get a break from the others stims which is also good from a tolerance perspective.
Hooligan excels in getting you up and ready for those heavy days. Power output and focus are wonderful as well as endurance. Pumps are good as well. Hooligan will hold up for any kind of a big workout day. You can be aggressive on it or you can be technical on it, it works for all situations. I go the Review Bros edition and the flavor is very good. No negatives and that high caffeine amount gets me through the day despite working out in the early AM.
I’ve ran Skull a few times but nothing really stood out for me. It has a lot of focus ingredients but again, it was not a stand out feature. Pumps were solid and energy was average daily drive feel. I had higher expectations but it feels like a paint by numbers daily and not much else
I’ve not had a bad workout on Zeus and it hits pretty consistent. Nice mood elevation and focus are the main draws with Zeus. Energy is there but nothing crazy with it, doesn’t feel strong or like I need to move just a smooth and steady energy. Power output feels good and endurance is very good. Taste was ok but nothing offensive.
Taste/Mixing- flavor was White Out, taste was an Icy Citrus and it was very good IMO. Mixed well with exception of 2 splotches that got stuck to the bottom of the bottle and I got tired of trying to get out. Also, scoop was about 1g light. Scoop weighed 4.5g and full weighed approximately 22.3 g so heap it a little
Energy- Right were it needed to be. Sense of urgency hit quick as the heart started telling me it was go time. Good AY runny nose and some shortness of breath. No complaints, kept me moving at full steam for the 1hr 44 min duration of my workout plus some dicking around with bi’s at the end. Not much rest time needed as my body and mind was ready to move, Bam, bam, bam
Endurance/power output- Good endurance, did not tire out though that is likely the byproduct of the stims. Power was good but again, stim related, weights moved easily
Focus- Again, what is focus and what is stim driven? Focus package is good and I was hard wired on my target but I was also well stimmed and moving briskly
Pumps-4g of Citrulline is the pump package. Also a week into an arachidomic acid cycle so who knows but pumps were vascular not swolen, did some curls for the girls post session and again, veiny
Overall Experience- used on heavy squat, deadlifts and lat day which is alpha yo day. Despite morning temps being cooler than I like I had a great session. This pre earned the coveted check mark by its name in my log book. This is the 3rd formulation of Symbiote (first two had 2 amino), I had the original version and it didn’t jive with me so I pitched in in July when it got its 3rd try. I had energy for days on this and a search and destroy attitude. Workout clocked in around 20 mins quicker than a Ho Hum pre as it propelled me forward. No negatives that I can see though I’d have preferred some alpha yo above 1.5mg, which I will add on next use. Sweat was good despite cooler temps this week. All in all a fantastic ride. Maybe not in the top echelon on my alpha pres but it knocked on the door for sure and at the $30 sale price it was worth full price
To me this is the the best of the Dark Labs illicit pres. It quiets the room and puts me on an island where just me and the weights exist in harmony. I don’t get any fast heartbeat or breathing issue as far as physical energy goes but I get a locked in feeling where all my movements are precise and my fatigue level is nonexistent. Pumps are good for all the stims in it. Focus is up there with the best and I’m locked in my head, I can feel myself think. Taste wasn’t horrible but chemical on the back end.
Superpump Aggression is one of the better pres in the high stim no illicit category. It is a high energy and focus pre with good
Mood elevation and a feeling of aggression as the name would suggest. I found pumps good but not spectacular. This works well for me on squat and deadlift days where I need the aggressive energy. I found no negatives

Enraged, to me, is the most physical energy from a pre without DM**’s or Alpha Yo in it. I found Enraged to be a good slap of energy that carries me throughout my workout. It hit well and hangs around. The energy and focus are the best aspects of this pre. There are no pump ingredients on the label but that is fine as it’s really just a high energy pre. It fits a nice niche in my preworkout arsenal. Flavor is just ok, nothing offensive but nothing that enjoyable either.
Not my favorite workout experience. The flavor was not memorable. Not good not bad, but I guess that’s a plus.
The pumps were okay and there is a massive burst of energy. The issue is it comes with elevated heart rate (in the bad way), shortness of breathe and light headedness.
Yes this is a super strong preworkout, but the cons outweigh the pros for me. The pumps are pretty solid and the workout was good, no crash, but it just wasn’t a super pleasurable experience for me.
One of the goat preworkouts. Really offers it all. Strong off with really strong energy. Smooths out when the illicits kick in and offers some great euphoria.
The weights feel like. There is no pain or fatigued. Feels amazing and you want to be in the gym all day.
Taste is fine and there were no side effects for me. Sad to see this one go. If you ever have a chance to buy product do it.
Pretty good pump formula. Comes unflavored making it super easy to stack with any preworkout. It does have a chalky texture that will be noticeable when drinking. One of the better pump formulas I’ve taken and would definitely order again.
Solid preworkout. I read so much hype about this product and I was super excited to try it out. Ran it a couple times and it feels mostly just like caffeine with a little bit of mood elevation. I guess it’s pretty hit or miss.
A good entry level stim junkie preworkout. Not super powerful, but also no side effects or crash. Taste isn’t bad. Pumps are okay.
Overall, I wouldn’t purchase this product again. It is decent, but there are much better pre workouts out there for stim junkies.

Although delivering a basic formula, Ryse ring pop hits with a mood elevation aspect every time. Combined with a great flavor and decent energy, I would recommend for everyone.
