Another High stim, high energy Dark Labs classic. DMHA pre workout.
Experience: Beta Alanine tingles – strong. Energy kicks in strong and fast. Urgency is apparent, Not jittery, collected and focused, just feeling good. Alpha Yo nose runs and aggression.You will feel strong on this one, weights feel light. Great focus and good mood elevation. Stacked formula. OYou don’t get tired or fatigued. Post workout feel good. Pumps are mid, you can add pump pills. Flavor is Peachy Witchy. It’s okay.
Overall 9/10. Reliable option to train hard, to push limits.

I am a pretty big fan of this one. Takes a little while to kick in, but once it does things really take off. Energy and focus are good, they last a long time and have you pushing hard during your workout.
Flavor is doable and pumps are decent, but nothing amazing. Heart rate was a little higher than I would like and it gave me a good sense of energy for several hours even after the gym.
Only had a sample of this one, but I will buy a tub next time I need a new product. Good mood elevation and really good focus. Another hitter by dark labs.
Good one from dark labs and overall better than most pre workouts but compared to their other pres I liked this one a bit less. Good energy
Flavor is a little bitter. Pumps are solid. Start of the show is definitely the physical energy. You feel the DMHA but the caffeine being so high that kind of takes over with the alpha yo. This is v1 I’m referring too. There’s mood elevation and highness but I hear v2 is much better. Will review it soon.
2-amino at 250mg with 1.75mg of alpha yohimbine is probably the most noticeable takeaways from the list of ingredients. The dosage of these two seem to work absolutely beautifully together. The citrulline mallate could be a little higher at 2:1 6grams, leaving you with just 4grams of citrulline. Beta-alanine is at its clinical finest 3200mg effective dose. The N-phenethyl (Eria Jarensis) at 300mg is a good dose but I’ve done well with 500mg and would probably liked to have just a little more Eria.
This was the 3rd batch of crack products from dark labs that I’ve purchased and has been in my rotation for the past 6 months. I would run this 1-2 times a month with my opinion having changed recently only due in part to the new Dark Labs products (maniaco specifically comes to mind) that have come out. It is a very hard driving pre-workout that comes with a strong sense of urgency and makes you work extra hard. I always go for extra reps on Primal and don’t even realize failure is setting in until failure sets in.
I always tend to start off doing cardio before my sets and with crack primal, I learned to reduce the amount of time doing a cardio warm up because I would get too eager and want to start lifting. This is one of those strong 2-amino DMHA pre-workouts that have your heart rate reaching cardio numbers by your 2nd set anyway, so it was more about getting the heavy work in than the heart rate. Highly intense mood elevation, music sounds better, lots of focus and determination. There’s no chill with Crack Primal, this is one of those pre-workouts with moderately high intensity. You might find yourself looking in the mirror at the gym thinking “there’s a million war crimes out there, how come I haven’t been charged with a single one? What am I doing with my life? I need to commit a felony or something!”
Taste is terrible, Dark Labs doesn’t have the best taste profiles for a lot of their products and primal seems to be one that is no exception. The sample I first got from Ruescos was “peachy witchy” and it tasted like a mix between medicine and crystal meth. I didn’t notice any peach and the taste was rough enough for me to remember this over a half year later. The full tub I bought was pineapple sangria which has the taste of the smell of what hunters rub on themselves to get bear’s horny… or something. It was no good but not really worth complaining about either.
