Excellent daily driver that is high stim, I use this more than once a week but at a 1 scoop dose. It has the 1-2 scoops ratio, I was first trying with 2 scoops but found that to be a bit heavy. This one will weigh in on your stomach or at least it does for me. 1-1.5 scoops is about right for me to use as a daily driver or as a buffer in between my high stim workouts.
Great pump formula already inside but when I do one scoop, I like to pair with a scoop of sicario. The combo together is even tougher on the stomach so I usually give it about 45 minutes before my workout to settle. Excellent energy, the theobromine at 500mg with 2 scoops seems to be the star of the show, ahead of the caffeine. The DMAE syncs up nicely for great focus and has incredible synergy with the theobromine and caffeine.
The flavor I have is “cherry pop” which I may have gotten lucky with because I’ve heard not so nice things about the other flavors. Cherry pop is decent and is a full bodied flavor, quite honestly one of the best tasting pre workouts I’ve had.
I experienced awful headaches multiple times, good energy and pumps but not worth the side effects.
I have been taking pre workouts for 10 years and this is legit one of my all time favorites. The mood elevation, beta alanine tingle, focus and energy is off the charts. The pumps are also great. This pre workout is amazing and I typically use it 2-3 times a week.
For flavor, I have had all of them. The Orange Creamsicle was my least favorite, and the Cherry Pop was my favorite. It is a really good flavor.
Overall this thing is amazing, definetly for ADVANCED stim junkies only.
Nutricartel added some sample of El Jefe to my purchase and I decided to try it for heavy push day.
5 minutes in you can feel betas, energy building up.
Brewing hard. Takes good 40-45 minutes to build. At that mark you get hit by great amount of high energy and focus. It’s aggressive and urgency is there. Strength output wasn’t noticeable for me, struggled to add extra reps to heavy weights.
Then aggression went away,
Lil nausea background started, with that, little mood elevation went away completely. It was a guess game for me for the rest of the workout. Do I like it? Is it productive and beneficial for my workout? I suppose something didn’t agree with me, with 500mg Theobromine, unnecessary. Nauseated for 2-3 hours. Burping all the time. Post workout do not wear off for 2-4 hours
Flavor is gummy bears and it’s nasty, even with 16 oz cold water I couldn’t drink it without wanting to throw up. It’s Apollon level bad.
Pumps were very good. Label is stacked with high quality pump ingredients. I loved it a lot. 10/10.
Overall experience 5.5 /10.
Wouldn’t buy the whole tub.
Got that new cherry flavor. Was delicious. Got a sample directly from Jake. Then got a full tub. Crazy physical energy. Alpha yo paired with 500 mg of Theobromine and you feel every bit of it. Stim junkie hitter for once a week without the illicits. Jake went in the most unique direction with his reformulation, most the other DMHA reformulations have similar experiences.
I was a fan of the previous version of El Jefe so I was excited about the new version despite the exclusion of DMHA. I liked the label and a fan of Xtermis Cartel. While this version is good I feel that it could’ve been more. I didn’t get the super kick that the label looked like it would provide. I just wanted more out of it. It’s not bad I just needed it to be a little more and that might be because of the El Jefe name that is on the label. It’s a good all around pre just not on I would reach for off the shelf when in need of something more for my training day
