P.I.M.P. Pump Pre-Workout Reviews

As a pump product, it’s fantastic. Very vascular and full muscles, glycerol seems high quality because I notice it more here than other pres I’ve had with similar dosages. Would be excellent to stack with a stim pre or caffeine. Where this falls short is taste. Got the green apple sample from Ruesco and it is the worst tasting pre I’ve had. Mixed with 12 oz of water, the powder didn’t seem to fully dissolve so there was that grainy texture you get with vegan protein shakes, in addition to a horrid taste they tried to label as apple. It’s really bad, bad enough so may not get it again despite the high quality effects.

A solid but overpriced pump formula.

There is nothing out of this world in this product that would make it stand out like the rest of dark labs products. It is a very good pump formula but that’s about it, prefer to stack it with a high stim pre.

Wouldn’t get it again since this is the worst tasting cherry I’ve tasted in my life, and I do love cherries.

I have a love/hate relationship with P.I.M.P.

Hate: the flavor tart cherry… it needs to be shaken quite a bit, let it sit for a moment, shake again and then drink it. First few times I tried it, I just chugged it and with the salt and tartness it tasted more like wasabi and soy sauce. The pumps are good, not amazing, you have to really put in the work to get that solid pump, you won’t just blow up like you would have on NO-Xplode from 2008!

Love: I love pairing this with a high stim workout, it pairs perfectly with flame to make the best preworkout stack I have had in a long time. I also stack anytime I use Smash AMF but pairing smash and pimp for whatever reason causes a few hours of awkward boners.

Weirdness: this only happens with stacking Smash AMF as far as I experienced, after each workout and when you cool down, the awkward boners start to happen. Not that I’m complaining but it has no place in my morning workout routine, cooldown, and start of the work day. I sometimes end up having to sit at my desk at work cross legged. I can’t help but wonder if it’s because of the 2.5mg yohimbine in smash amf. Perhaps the yohimbine synergizes with the pump formula to cause a cialis like effect.

Pre does what it’s supposed to. The pumps are immaculate.

I got a sample, but it was green, so I assume it was the apple flavor. DO NOT get the green apple. Tasted like pure vomit.

P.i.m.p is a straight up pure pump formula. No nootropics just straight pumps. This is what I use to add to my higher stim pre workouts that don’t have a lot of pump ingredients. This pre mixes well but tastes disgusting. Not the worst tasting ever but I have to chug it anytime I use it. Very vascular pumps, more of a “wet” pump versus a dry pump. Overall very solid pure non stim pump pre workout that can be used alone or added with any other high stim pre.
