Herolean Pre-Workout Reviews

An unexpected but welcome surprise for me. I at first bought this as a fat burner for my significant other to use. As it turns out even at half dose it was too much for her as the effects lasted too long.

So I said what the hell let me try it. Man did I have a blast on this. I ended up using it thruought the summer so much I was bummed out I couldn’t use it more than twice a week without building up a tolerance.

There is no pump on this, no tunnel vision, no focus, just insane amounts of energy and mood elevation. Perfect for long cardio workouts or endurance/MMA workouts. It really makes you sweat and the insane physical energy helps you push trough workouts harder and for longer helping you burn more energy as a result.

This is perhaps my favorite Dark Labs supplement I’ve used so far and the one I’ve used the most. Oh and the flavor aint too bad either, it’s a bit spicy-peppery but maybe that’s what I like about it, kinda gets you in an irritable fat burning mood.

A little bit intense for a fat burner for me. Very high energy with not much in the way of pumps. Makes you sweat like crazy, which is a bonus for me, but might not be for all.

I used this one for a cardio day and it gave me a huge boost of energy and hit pretty quickly. Definitely helped me get more output during my cardio session and kept me buzzing for hours.

That being said I didn’t love the way it made me feel. Too much of a sense of urgency can get me irritated. I prefer a more calm focused energy in my preworkouts. It’s not a bad pre, just not the right one for me.

Solid fat burner but super high stim. Wouldn’t use it as a daily fat burner. Great product from dark labs 👍

This is for herolean v2. Solid thermogenic. You do sweat. Good DMHA buzz. Pumps are non existent so stack your pumps. Not the most euphoric dark labs pre but solid. Mood elevation lasts for hours. Plenty of physical energy. Nice low dose of alpha yo is the icing on the cake.

This is for original v1. Crazy Alpha Yo experience! Too much for most, no pumps so stack some pumps, real DMAA so there is mood elevation and euphoria. Be careful with this one. Decent focus. Long lasting. Physical energy is plenty.

This was at one time my favorite fat burner before I started exploring other fat burners on the market. I’ve used this product on the weekends for a few months to increase cardio output, but it is currently not even my favorite dark labs fat burner that is out. The herolean I have is version 2 but I’ve also seen multiple reviews for the original formula having too much yohimbine involved. This version brings it down to 1mg of alpha yohimbine and instead of DMAA you get 225mg DMHA and 300mg of eria jarensis. There’s 3 types of caffeine (anhydrous, citrate the fast acting type and dicaffeine malate that’s more like extended release). The problem with the label starts with the actual physical label on the tub, because it’s a small tub with a big label there is only 2 ways for me to read it without pulling it up through the dark labs site. I either have to zoom in with my camera or I have to put on a pair of reading glasses.

The flavor I got was “tropic punch” but it’s the worst impression of a tropic or tropical punch that I have ever had. The taste is the worst part because when you think about seeing other labels with black pepper on them, it’s usually rare that you can taste it. I’m not sure if it’s the black pepper itself which is normally used to aid in digestion and absorption, but there is quite a strong pepper taste with the tropic punch. It’s a cross between chemicals, pepper, and some type of dollar store brand fruit punch that barely masks up the negatives of the flavor.

The energy output is great, which is always what I’m looking for in a fat burner. This would actually make for a decent pre workout when stacked with a pump formula. I can usually boost my cardio time by an extra half hour because of the euphoria that comes in with the DMHA and eria jarensis. The alpha yo doesn’t just have to sit at 1mg, I think if you’re into alpha yohimbine like I am, it’s probably okay to throw on a capsule of alpha yo to cap this off as well. The intensity of the cardio output is boosted by 25%-50%. It seems like in some cases it’s just not as reliable as a fat burner when it comes to the intensity of activity you get up to. It seems like if I’ve taken this 10x, I was disappointed by results 3x throughout its use. There were days where for whatever reason it just didn’t slap as hard as other days that I have taken it on. Appetite suppression was never amazing with this product but also I tend to stay fasted before high intensity cardio, so that definitely has a role in this.

I think there’s a lot of ways someone could benefit from this fat burner… stack it with a pump formula to turn it into more of a stim junkie pre workout with explosive power or stack an alpha yo capsule on it to increase the rate of sweating this could be bringing out of you during cardio.
